Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is seeking an Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) Metrics & Project Management Program Lead to strengthen how ESH plans, measures, and improves its work within the Operations & Business Directorate.

You will lead project management standards, training, and guidance for complex initiatives and develop an integrated performance measurement framework with dashboards for actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and substantial related experience.
• Substantial experience leading complex project/program management and performance measurement initiatives.
• Expert knowledge of project and program management principles and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ESH Project Management Program, including standards, tools, governance, and lifecycle expectations across the Directorate.
• Coach and mentor ESH project managers and provide senior-level guidance on complex initiatives.
• Develop and implement an integrated ESH performance measurement framework and governance for dashboards and metrics.
• Partner with data/reporting resources to create targeted dashboards and organizational performance insights.
• Lead cross-functional ESH projects from initiation through closeout and drive improvements for predictability and execution.
• At TSS.5 level, shape long-range roadmaps, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership.
