Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is seeking an ESH Business & Technology Enablement Lead to translate ESH business and IT requirements into actionable solutions. You will liaise between LivIT and ESH owners, manage projects, and ensure adoption of new IT capabilities across programs.

This role requires a U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DOE Q-level security clearance, with a hybrid schedule allowing remote work part of the week after a probationary period.

Qualifications

• Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical science, or related ESH field or equivalent.
• Extensive experience with ESH programs, operations, compliance, or related technical environments.
• Experience translating business needs into IT requirements across data, workflow, reporting, dashboards, and applications.
• Experience partnering with IT to evaluate, implement, or sustain business applications.
• Ability to analyze current-state processes, map future-state improvements, and identify interdependencies.
• Experience leading complex projects with risk, scheduling, and stakeholder management.
• Experience representing technical/operational groups in AI initiatives and coordinating with IT.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply ESH program knowledge to translate business needs into IT requirements.
• Serve as liaison between ESH owners, LivIT, data specialists and partners.
• Lead analysis of current-state processes and develop future-state improvements.
• Manage complex ESH Application Management projects from planning to closeout.
• Facilitate user adoption, training, and communications for new IT solutions.
• Support ESH Software Review Board activities for prioritizing IT changes.
• Coordinate with AI initiatives and define requirements, data needs, and risks.
