Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to access LLNL in compliance with NDAA.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical science, business, project management, data analytics, or related field.
• Substantial experience leading or supporting complex project/program management, organizational performance measurement, operational excellence, business management, or related activities.
• Expert knowledge of project and program management principles, methods, and best practices.
• Highly advanced experience designing and applying organizational performance measures, including KPIs and governance.
• Experience developing training, guidance, and development approaches for professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and continuously improve the ESH Project Management Program across the directorate.
• Maintain and implement PM training and development program; coach ESH project managers.
• Advise on project definition, planning, scheduling, resource management, risk and opportunity management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide senior PM support for highly complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Assess effectiveness of the PM program and implement improvements.
• Lead cross-functional ESH projects from initiation through closeout.
• Develop and implement an integrated ESH performance measurement framework.
• Establish governance for measures and data sources; ensure quality and thresholds.
• Partner to develop dashboards showing performance trends and risks.
• Analyze performance information and provide concise insights to senior management.
