Job summary

National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) in Golden, CO seeks an Environment, Safety, and Health Point of Contact to support MCCS and ESSI. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance on hazard identification and control, collaborating across staff, and developing ESH documents as part of project life cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a relevant field with required experience.
• Master's or PhD with relevant experience also acceptable.
• Experience in safety, risk assessment, and program management.
• Ability to use computer software and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for hazard identification and control.
• Collaborate with researchers and staff to evaluate risks and implement safety improvements.
• Develop hazard identification and control documents for projects.
• Support ESH program implementation including NEPA, air and water quality, waste management.
• Assist in emergency response planning and incident investigation.
• Conduct ESH inspections, audits, and oversight assessments.
