Job summary

PwC is seeking a Sustainability R&A Intern to support the credibility of ESG disclosures within our Assurance practice. You will engage in data collection, research, and analysis of environmental, social, and governance metrics, while learning PwC methodologies and supporting client engagements.

You will observe auditors, contribute to reporting improvements, and gain exposure to climate finance mechanisms, collaborating with teams to advance sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's in Accounting, Sustainable Resource Management, Environmental Science, or Finance.
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA.
• Client service intern positions are entry-level; typically in the third year of a four-year degree or fourth year of a five-year program at application.

Responsibilities

• Supporting sustainability reporting initiatives by gathering and analyzing ESG data.
• Participating in the preparation of sustainability reports aligned with GRI/TCFD.
• Assisting in evaluating climate finance and nature finance mechanisms.
• Engaging in data modeling and analysis to inform sustainability performance.
• Collaborating to conduct materiality assessments and prioritize ESG issues.
• Observing experienced auditors to understand independent assessment processes.
• Contributing to development of technical solutions for reporting processes.
• Applying a learning mindset to PwC's sustainability practices and methodologies.
• Active listening and asking questions to contribute to team projects.
