Job summary

PwC is seeking a Sustainability R&A - Intern in New York to engage in projects that enhance credibility of sustainability reporting across environmental, social, and governance disclosures. You will support teams, perform data analysis, and learn PwC's methodologies in assurance engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Sustainable Resource Management, Environmental Science, or Finance.
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA.
• Client service intern positions are entry-level; typically third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.

Responsibilities

• Supporting sustainability reporting initiatives by gathering and analyzing data related to ESG metrics.
• Participating in the preparation of sustainability reports in alignment with reporting standards such as GRI and TCFD.
• Assisting in the evaluation of climate finance and nature finance mechanisms to support sustainability projects.
• Engaging in data modeling and analysis to provide insights for sustainability performance improvement.
• Collaborating with teams to conduct materiality assessments and prioritize significant ESG issues for reporting.
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to understand the processes of providing independent assessments.
• Contributing to the development of technical solutions for enhancing sustainability reporting processes.
• Applying a learning mindset to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies in sustainability reporting.
• Actively listening and asking questions to enhance understanding and contribute effectively to team projects.
