Job summary

Sigma Earth is seeking an ESG Supervisor to lead and develop comprehensive ESG and sustainability strategies for clients across both public and private sectors. The role includes guiding ESG requirements in tenders, contracts, and projects, and applying CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, and SFDR frameworks.

You will design, oversee, and deliver ESG consulting services and manage non-financial reporting aligned with CSRD/ESRS, GRI, and TCFD, including Double Materiality analysis and data quality oversight.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Corporate Governance, or related field.
  • 3–4 years ESG-focused experience recommended; total experience 5–7 years preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.

ESG Supervisor
Job Description
  • Lead and develop comprehensive ESG and Sustainability strategies for clients across both public and private sectors.
  • Provide guidance and support on ESG requirements arising from tenders, contracts, and projects (including tender requirements, contractual ESG clauses, and KPIs).
  • Interpret and apply regulatory and contractual requirements such as CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, as well as ESG criteria in public and private contracts.
  • Design, oversee, and deliver ESG consulting services to clients.
  • Plan and supervise Sustainability and Non-Financial Reporting in line with frameworks such as CSRD/ESRS, GRI, and TCFD.
  • Conduct Double Materiality Analysis and integrate findings into strategies, projects, and reporting.
  • Manage, review, and ensure the quality of ESG data required within contracts and projects.
  • Calculate and monitor carbon footprint (Scope 1, 2, and 3) in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018.
  • Develop and track environmental and social performance at both project and organizational levels.
  • Design and deliver ESG training and capacity-building programs for clients and internal teams.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and collaborate cross-functionally with legal, technical, and financial departments.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contracting authorities, and other stakeholders on ESG-related matters.
Required Specialized Experience
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working with clients to define objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Expertise in ESG and Sustainability strategy within public and private sector projects and contracts.
  • Experience implementing ESG requirements in tenders, contractual frameworks, and projects.
  • Strong knowledge of frameworks such as CSRD/ESRS, GRI, TCFD, EU Taxonomy, and SFDR.
  • Experience in sustainability reporting and non-financial disclosures.
  • Proficiency in conducting Double Materiality Analysis.
  • Experience in carbon footprint measurement (direct and indirect GHG emissions) according to ISO 14064-1:2018.
  • Knowledge of environmental and social performance evaluation at project and organizational levels.
  • Experience in ESG training and capacity-building initiatives.
  • Exposure to social and environmental responsibility programs.
  • Familiarity with ESG assessment tools such as EcoVadis.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Master’s degree (MSc) in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Corporate Governance, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of total professional experience.
  • At least 3–4 years of experience in ESG or Sustainability roles.
