Job summary

ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Transaction Advisory (Mergers & Acquisitions) to lead ESG and EHS due diligence for complex transactions across the United States. You will collaborate with ERM partners and global experts to deliver insights that reduce risk and identify value for investors and clients.

The role requires strong project management, exceptional communication skills, and willingness to travel across a broad geographic area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, climate science, environmental science, geology, or related discipline.
• 4+ years (10+ years preferred) of experience in environmental consulting with a focus on due diligence projects.
• Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills; ability to write comprehensive due diligence reports.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and ability to travel across a large geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EHS and ESG due diligence projects for buy-side, sell-side, and project financing transactions.
• Manage teams and project delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Assist in proposal writing and development.
• Analyze risks and articulate commercial implications of EHS and sustainability risks.
