Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Accounting (ESG Controllership) to support the Director of ESG Controllership, Reporting in advancing ESG reporting, regulatory compliance and controllership priorities. You will coordinate cross-functional inputs, prepare documentation, analyze requirements and support timely ESG disclosures and assurance readiness across CSRD, ISSB and California climate disclosures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, sustainability, environmental management or related field; CPA preferred.
• Experience in public accounting or multinational corporate accounting, controllership or ESG reporting.
• Familiarity with ESG standards and climate reporting frameworks (CSRD/ESRS, ISSB, GHG Protocol, EU Taxonomy) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support ESG regulatory reporting workstreams across CSRD, ISSB, EU Taxonomy and state disclosures.
• Execute ESG reporting roadmaps, governance activities and disclosures aligned with strategy.
• Support climate and GHG reporting with global/regional teams and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare ESG metrics, KPIs and assurance-ready disclosures with documentation.
• Leverage Workiva to manage metrics collection, workflows and outputs.
• Collaborate with Controllership, Corporate Sustainability, Legal and regional finance to gather inputs and validate information.
