Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Accounting (ESG Controllership) to join Controllership and drive ESG reporting, regulatory compliance, and controllership priorities across global frameworks. You will coordinate with Controllership, Corporate Sustainability, Legal, ERM and regional finance to gather inputs and ensure timely, assurance-ready disclosures.

The role emphasizes strong execution, data governance, and using Workiva for metrics collection and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; CPA preferred.
• Experience in ESG reporting, regulatory compliance or internal controls.
• Strong analytical, written and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support sustainability reporting workstreams including CSRD/ISSB/EU Taxonomy.
• Execute ESG reporting roadmaps and disclosures aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Support climate and GHG reporting with global/regional teams.
• Prepare ESG metrics and disclosure documents for regulatory and voluntary reporting.
