Job summary
Corning is seeking a Sustainability Compliance & Reporting Lead to drive regulatory understanding and sustainability governance across Advanced Optics products. The role collaborates with Legal, Sustainability, Supply Management, and external stakeholders to implement best practices and ensure ongoing compliance.
The position emphasizes cross‑functional leadership, data-driven ESG reporting, and strategic input on product regulations across US/EU markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, sciences or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with regulated product compliance (EU Reach, EU RoHS, US TSCA, PFAS, CalProp65).
- Experience overseeing ESG platforms and sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between Commercial, Legal, Sustainability and other teams.
- Interpret and communicate impacts of new/existing regulations on products and processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional SMEs to address regulatory changes and surveys.
- Represent company interests with global trade industry associations.
- Contribute to new product and technology regulatory activities.
