Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a dedicated Environmental Compliance lead at Sullivan Park to manage air emissions compliance, permitting, and regulatory reporting.

The role supports broader multimedia environmental programs and partners across the site to ensure adherence to federal, state, and corporate requirements. The position requires a BS in a technical field and 5+ years of experience, with strong writing and project leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, EHS management, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant environmental compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of air emissions compliance, permitting, ambient air modeling, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience supporting multimedia environmental programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and project leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead site air compliance activities including permitting, reporting, and emissions calculations.
• Evaluate environmental requirements for new or modified processes and projects.
• Support multimedia environmental programs (hazardous waste, wastewater, stormwater, etc.).
• Manage environmental data, documentation, and contractor support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate environmental requirements into operations and projects.
• Communicate compliance expectations and support investigations and corrective actions.
