Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking an enthusiastic ESE Teacher to join a mission-driven team focused on exceptional student outcomes. You will collaborate with parents, students, and regular education teachers to promote achievement and comply with federal and state regulations.

You will plan and deliver specially designed instruction, maintain IEPs, monitor progress, and contribute to inclusive practices across classrooms in CSUSA schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• State Certification in Special Education and HQ status in the subject/grades assigned.
• Criminal and employment background checks completed.
• Such alternatives CSUSA may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and conducts Parent and student conferencing according to school policy.
• Delivers instruction using modalities as assigned (direct, supportive, inclusion, co-teaching etc.).
• Collects data and work samples; monitors student progress.
• Plans appointments with parents and coordinates with teachers.
• Provides support for ESE student achievement in the general class and with inclusion plans.
• Maintains IEPs, reports, and progress monitoring; conducts IEP meetings.
• Communicates with teachers and administrators; participates in team meetings.
