Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• State Certified in Special Education and HQ status.
• HQ in at least two areas of Exceptional Education.
• Criminal and employment background checks required.
• Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
• Effective instructional delivery techniques and communication skills.
• Adherence to the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regular education teachers to monitor student progress and compliance.
• Proctor standardized tests and complete quarterly progress reports.
• Maintain IEPs, Quarterly Reports, and Progress Monitoring for caseload.
• Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals and data-driven decisions.
• Provide inclusive practices training and support for teachers and staff.
• Assist with planning accommodations for students with disabilities and transitions.
