Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) in North Carolina is seeking an experienced ESE Teacher to support students with disabilities within inclusive classrooms. You will partner with regular education teachers, parents, and specialists to promote student achievement in accordance with federal and state regulations.

The role requires collaboration across teams, development of IEPs with measurable goals, data-driven instruction, and adherence to CSUSA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• State Certified in Special Education with HQ status.
• HQ in two areas of Exceptional Education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and conducts Parent and student conferencing according to school policy.
• Delivers instruction in modalities instituted by the school (direct, life skills, inclusion, co-teaching, etc.).
• Collects data and appropriate work samples.
• Plans and conducts appointments with parents as needed.
• Assists regular education teachers with specially designed instruction.
• Provides support for ESE student achievement in the general class through training teachers and inclusion plans.
• Maintains IEPs, Quarterly Reports, and Progress Monitoring for caseload.
• Attends Professional Development as designated on the school calendar.
