Job summary

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking an enthusiastic ESE Teacher to partner with parents, students, and regular education staff to promote student achievement in accordance with the school's mission.

You will support students with disabilities, maintain compliant IEPs, and implement inclusionary strategies to ensure rigorous academic progress and life-ready skills for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• State Certified in Special Education and HQ status in assigned areas.
• Certification in at least two areas of Exceptional Education preferred.
• Background checks required for employment.
• Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and conducts Parent and student conferences.
• Delivers instruction using modalities defined by the school program.
• Maintains IEPs, progress reports, and data collection.
• Collaborates with regular education teachers to monitor progress and inclusion.
• Assists with planning for classroom and testing accommodations for students with disabilities.
• Proctors standardized tests and participates in team meetings.
• Provides training and supports inclusionary practices.
