Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• State Certified in Special Education and HQ status in subject areas.
• Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
• Excellent communication and instructional delivery skills.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and meet regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and conduct parent and student conferencing according to school policy.
• Deliver instruction using modalities implemented by the school (incl. direct instruction, co-teaching, life skills support).
• Collect data and appropriate work samples.
• Plan and conduct appointments with parents as needed.
• Assist regular education teachers with specialized instruction when necessary.
• Proctor standardized tests and maintain progress reports.
• Maintain IEPs, Quarterly Reports, and Progress Monitoring data.
