Job summary

The Escrow Assistant role in California’s Central Valley involves providing administrative and transactional support to Escrow Officers to ensure timely, accurate handling of residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Responsibilities include file setup, document preparation, communication coordination, and support of signings and closings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced lending, banking, real estate, or office environments.
• Calm under pressure and able to adapt to shifting timelines.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain escrow files from start to close.
• Collect lender/client information and respond to routine requests.
• Keep data clean and current in escrow systems and Microsoft Office.
• Prepare, assemble, and send escrow document packages.
• Support signings and closings (documents, funds, and timelines).
• Coordinate updates with agents, buyers, sellers, and lenders.
