Job summary

CBRE's Loan Servicing team in Houston seeks an Escrow Analyst to monitor property taxes, insurance, and UCC filings for CRE portfolios and ensure timely payments.

The role conducts analysis of escrow accounts, coordinates with taxing authorities nationwide, reviews closing documents for escrow compliance, and prepares data for audits, all while delivering accurate reports and maintaining CBRE's commitment to service and excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years related experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and respond to inquiries from clients and coworkers.
• Basic knowledge of financial terms and principles and ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of escrow accounts in compliance with lender requirements.
• Ensure timely payment of tax payments to third-party vendors and taxing authorities for escrowed loans.
• Provide research and support to loan servicing team regarding escrow related queries.
• Review Loan Closing Documents and setup to ensure escrow compliance with lender requirements.
• Work with various taxing authorities across the US to review and correct tax related issues.
• Monitor UCC filings to ensure full compliance with lender requirements.
• Utilize CBRE systems to review escrow data and run reports.
• Assist in gathering documentation for audits and certifications.
