Job summary

The Community Preservation Corporation is seeking an Escrow Specialist to execute escrow functions within the commercial loan servicing platform, including Real Estate Taxes, Insurance, Mortgage Insurance, and the annual Escrow Analysis cycle.

The role requires deep subject matter expertise, quality control, and data integrity. You will resolve escalated issues, support the team, and help enhance workflows while ensuring regulatory compliance and borrower service standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in commercial loan servicing or escrow operations.
Advanced understanding of tax cycles, insurance requirements, and escrow methodologies.
Ability to independently review and validate complex scenarios.
Strong judgment and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills across teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

Review and approve escrow disbursements for taxes, insurance, and mortgage insurance.
Monitor escrow balances and resolve shortages or surpluses.
Perform in-depth escrow analyses including payment histories and projected disbursements.
Support annual escrow analysis cycles and borrower notices.
Serve as SME for complex escrow items and drive issue resolution.
Ensure adherence to servicing agreements, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Servicing, Finance, Investor Reporting, and Asset Management to resolve discrepancies.
Identify and implement process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
Develop procedures and training materials to ensure consistent execution.
