Anywhere is seeking an experienced escrow officer in the San Diego area to manage contracts from start to finish, ensuring accurate paperwork and timely closings. You will collaborate with lenders, agents, and title professionals to fund and finalize transactions.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of escrow experience, notary/public licenses, and strong written and verbal communication to guide clients and agents smoothly through the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; continuing education courses as required.
• Two to three years escrow experience (front- and back-end).
• Notary public and escrow officer licenses.
• Technical knowledge of closing process.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication to keep all parties updated.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts from start to finish to ensure timely, efficient closings.
• Verify all paperwork is complete for a smooth escrow close.
• Coordinate with lenders, underwriters, agents, and title professionals to fund transactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with essential industry players (agents, attorneys, lenders, surveyors, government agencies).
• Mentor escrow assistants and delegate tasks to enable advancement.
• Be present at closing to ensure a positive experience for all parties.
