Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking an Escrow Officer to manage timely real estate closings (escrow) under the supervision of the Branch Manager. The role includes coordinating with lenders, Realtors, builders, and buyers to ensure smooth transactions.

The successful candidate will handle escrow funds, prepare disbursements, and balance related accounts. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with notary credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four to six years of related experience.
• Notary with knowledge of Century Title automation.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks; read and carry out verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine residential escrow close tasks including prep of instructions and amendments.
• Deposit escrow funds, prepare disbursements, and balance escrow accounts.
• Conduct closings with customers and coordinate with Realtors, lenders, builders, and buyers.
• Train Escrow Technicians and Assistant Escrow Officers as needed.
• Maintain relationships to promote future escrow and title business.
