Qualifications

Role Description The Escrow Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tulsa, OK, responsible for managing the closing process for residential real estate transactions. Day-to-day tasks include opening and maintaining escrow files, reviewing purchase agreements and title commitments, preparing settlement statements and closing documents, and coordinating with real estate agents, lenders, and customers to ensure timely and accurate closings. The Escrow Officer will conduct signings, explain documents clearly, handle funds in accordance with regulations and company policies, and ensure all required documents are properly executed, notarized, and recorded. The role also involves resolving issues that arise during the transaction, delivering a professional and courteous customer experience, and maintaining compliance with state and company guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Escrow and Closings, including managing residential real estate transactions from file opening through funding and recording.
  • Ability to perform Notary duties in accordance with state requirements; current Notary Public commission in Oklahoma or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience in Residential Real Estate, with familiarity in purchase contracts, title commitments, and lender requirements.
  • Impeccable Customer Service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, and proficiency with title/escrow software: Qualia & SoftPro, and standard office applications.
  • Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations related to escrow, real estate settlements, and handling of funds.
  • Prior experience as an Escrow Officer, Escrow Assistant, or similar role in a title company or real estate law firm preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in real estate or 4+ yrs in title/escrow services is a plus.
