Role Description

The Escrow Officer is a full-time, on-site position based in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for managing the escrow process for residential real estate transactions, including preparing and reviewing closing documents, coordinating with lenders, real estate professionals, and clients, and ensuring funds are accurately received and disbursed. The Escrow Officer will coordinate the transaction with the assistance of a processing assistant, verify legal and financial documentation, and maintain compliance with state and company policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing clear updates to all parties, resolving issues that arise during the transaction, maintaining detailed records, and delivering a professional, customer-focused experience from opening escrow to final closing.
