Role Description

The Escrow Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX, responsible for managing residential real estate transactions from opening escrow through closing. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing closing documents, coordinating with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties, and ensuring funds are accurately handled and disbursed. The role involves verifying title and escrow instructions, resolving issues that may impact closing, and maintaining detailed records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Escrow Officer will communicate frequently with clients and partners to provide status updates, answer questions, and deliver a professional closing experience.

Qualifications
  • Experience managing real estate Closings, including preparing settlement statements and coordinating all parties to finalize transactions.
  • Knowledge of Escrow procedures, document requirements, and compliance practices within residential real estate.
  • Ability to perform Notary services in accordance with state regulations; current notary commission in Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, respond promptly, and maintain a professional demeanor under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Hands-on experience in Residential Real Estate transactions, title work, or escrow operations within a title company environment.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy in handling funds and documents, and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with title and escrow software, standard office applications, and secure document management tools.
  • Ability to work on-site in Dallas, TX, collaborate with team members, and manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Relevant education or training in real estate, finance, or a related field; escrow officer or title industry certification is a plus.
