Role Description

The Escrow Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Terre Haute, IN, responsible for overseeing and completing residential real estate closings from start to finish. Daily tasks include opening and managing escrow files, preparing closing documents, coordinating with lenders, real estate agents, and customers, and verifying the accuracy of title and escrow instructions. The Escrow Officer conducts in-person closings, explains documents to parties, and ensures all signatures, funds, and disbursements are handled in compliance with applicable laws and company policies. The role also requires maintaining clear communication, resolving issues that arise during transactions, balancing escrow accounts, and delivering a professional, customer-focused experience at all times.
