Role Description

The Escrow Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Victorville, CA. This role is responsible for managing escrow files from opening through closing, including preparing and reviewing escrow instructions, coordinating documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company procedures. The Escrow Officer works closely with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely closings, resolve issues, and maintain clear, professional communication throughout each transaction. Daily tasks include balancing files, disbursing funds, preparing settlement statements, verifying title and lender requirements, and overseeing signing appointments. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, supporting a streamlined workflow, and contributing to a client experience that is secure, informed, and stress-free.

Qualifications

• Experience managing escrow transactions, including Escrow file handling and transaction coordination.
• Proficiency with Closings processes, including document preparation, review, and accurate disbursement of funds.
• Ability to perform or coordinate Notary services and manage signing appointments in accordance with legal requirements.
• Background in Residential Real Estate, with familiarity in resales, refinances, and related transaction documentation.
• Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, conflict resolution, and relationship management with clients and partners.
• Knowledge of state and DFPI regulations, escrow best practices, and compliance standards.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfort with digital tools and escrow/real estate software platforms to support efficient workflows.
• Prior experience as an Escrow Officer or in a similar escrow/settlement role; industry certifications or licensing are a plus.
