Job summary

American National Bank & Trust is seeking an Escrow Processor/Funder to efficiently release funds from escrow accounts as real estate closings occur. You will work with the Escrow Officer to review files, balance accounts, and ensure accurate disbursement of funds via wires or checks.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, strict verification of wiring instructions, and coordination with closing teams to ensure timely, error-free funding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related schooling or on‑the‑job training preferred.
• 2 years of related experience in a title, escrow, or settlement environment.
• Experience managing fiduciary funds and knowledge of settlement statements, prorations, loan fees, title insurance rates, and commissions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of files closing on a given day and their exact status.
• Monitor signing, balancing, funding authorization, and document recording.
• Verify payees, balance settlement ledger to statements, and confirm documents are recorded.
• Confirm wiring instructions are accurate and push wire data to banking systems.
• Follow up on rejected wires and resolve issues promptly.
• Print checks and deliver to closing parties or table.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
