Compass International Holdings is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to be the linchpin of our homeownership process. You’ll review contracts at the start, ensure documents flow smoothly, verify titles, taxes, and loan funding, and supervise closing to prevent any missteps.

You’ll work with agents, buyers, and sellers to keep transactions moving and ensure a clean handoff at close. You are detail‑oriented, a patient problem solver, and a strong communicator who can manage multiple contracts

Qualifications

• Education and licensing requirements as listed (high school diploma or equivalent; notary public and escrow officer licenses).
• Two to three years of escrow experience, front- and back-end.
• Certification: notary public and escrow officer licenses.
• Industry awareness: closing process knowledge.
• Computer skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communications to keep all parties updated.

Responsibilities

• Know the contract from start to finish to ensure timely, error-free closings.
• Ensure paperwork is complete so escrow closes on time.
• Coordinate with lenders/underwriters to fund and complete transactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with essential industry partners.
• Reach out to new agents and provide white-glove service to retain them.
• Train escrow assistants and delegate tasks to enable growth.
• Be present at closing and ensure a positive closing experience.
