Job summary

Independence Title in the Austin Area, Texas (Buda Office), a wholly owned subsidiary of Anywhere Integrated Services, is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support residential real estate transactions.

You will coordinate information for home sales, handle front end processing and post-closing tasks, read contracts, assemble documents, and ensure timely transmission to lenders while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of Escrow experience.
• Experience with escrow/title software systems preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the collection of information to finalize a home sale.
• Handle both front end processing and post-closing/funding tasks as required by Independence Title and the Escrow Officer.
• Read contracts, commitments and orders, in preparation for the closing, as well as assembling the necessary documents to prepare the file.
• Maintain the files, record the appropriate documentation, send out checks once the closing is complete, and transmit documents to the lender.
• Demonstrate good customer service attitude and respect with both external customers and co-workers alike.

Anywhere Integrated Services is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.
