Job summary

Executive Title Agency, Ltd. is seeking an Escrow Assistant in Houston to support the Escrow Officer. The role requires handling communications with lenders, buyers, and agents, processing commitments, and reviewing tax certificates with precision.

You will assist with high-volume closings, verify HOA fees, and address pre-closing issues while leveraging MS Office and SoftPro when available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant administrative experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• SoftPro experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with lender, buyer, and selling agent.
• Send commitment with additional documents required to all parties.
• Process Title Commitments.
• Review tax certificate for accuracy and calculate unimproved/improved amount.
• Clear Schedule C items, if any.
• Assist escrow officer.
• Verify HOA Fees.
• Address/clear any pre-closing transaction issues.
• Ability to process a high volume of closings.
