Community Action, Inc. is seeking an ERSEA & Transitions Coordinator in San Marcos, TX, to oversee eligibility, recruitment, enrollment and attendance within Head Start’s ERSEA framework.

The role reports to the Family Services Director and supports transitions for children entering or leaving Head Start programs. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services or Sociology and at least one year of relevant enrollment/eligibility experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Sociology or related field is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in enrollment and/or eligibility in a related Human Service position preferred.
• Proven ability to educate and negotiate with local communities and staff.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with ERSEA component and program-wide policies.
• Develop and implement ERSEA and Transitions goals, policies and monitoring systems.
• Provide training for staff, families and partners in ERSEA and Transitions.
• Prepare and distribute timely ERSEA reports to OHS and stakeholders.
• Maintain data systems, security of data and filing.
