Job summary

Upbring in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a Family Services Coordinator to lead Family Engagement Advocates and ERSEA Specialists within Head Start. The role oversees eligibility, recruitment, enrollment, and attendance while coordinating health, mental health, disabilities, and child development services with adherence to standards.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in a related field, has supervisory experience, and understands Head Start standards; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in social work or related field is required.
• Supervisory experience is required for this role.
• Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Family Engagement Advocates and ERSEA Specialists.
• Coordinate and support ERSEA, PFCE, health, and disabilities across centers.
• Monitor caseloads and ensure effective program operations.
• Lead monthly Policy Council meetings and maintain community partnerships.
• Oversee recruitment planning and enrollment consistency throughout the year.
• Provide staff development and formal evaluations with goal setting.
