Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a Communications Specialist 4 to lead strategic communications for a multi-year ERP transition built on SAP S/4HANA. You will partner with the Program Change Manager to guide organizational change communications and stakeholder engagement across the Lab.

Responsibilities include coordinating across workstreams, advising leadership, and ensuring consistent messaging through multiple channels, while integrating multimedia content for broad audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or related field with twelve or more years of relevant experience.
• Strong editing and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and related document tools.
• Baseline understanding of generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and responsible AI use.
• Experience managing large, enterprise-wide initiatives and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and tactical communications for ERP transformation and organizational change management.
• Advise leadership, workstream leads, and partners on communications for the transition.
• Engage Lab employees across channels, ensuring awareness of changes and support plans.
• Coordinate multimedia content development for employees, managers, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain consistent messaging and manage communications vehicles across the program.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners throughout implementation.
