Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America (HAEA) is seeking a Sr. Business Process Analyst-SAP ABAP SD/OTC to drive end-to-end OTC solutions across ECC and S/4HANA. You will bridge business and technical teams, translate OTC requirements into robust SAP configurations, and provide production support to sustain critical operations.

Responsibilities include SD configuration, ABAP development, and integration with MM, FI and LE. On-call support and involvement in S/4HANA migrations are expected in Joliet, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6+ years IT experience.
• 7+ years SAP ABAP/SD technofunctional experience.
• Strong OTC/SD process knowledge (order management, pricing, billing, deliveries).
• Proven ABAP development experience: RICEF, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, Forms.
• Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA including migrations.
• SD integration with MM, FI, LE; IDocs/EDI knowledge.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• SAP SD/S4HANA certification preferred.

What you will be doing:

Selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, configuration, and support of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) solutions across SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. Serving as a technofunctional bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, the candidate will translate Order-to-Cash (OTC) and SD business requirements into robust, scalable SAP solutions and provide ongoing production support to sustain HAEA business operations.

Key roles & responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, configure, and support SAP SD functionality across ECC and S/4HANA, covering the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) process including order management, pricing, billing, deliveries, credit management, and returns.
• Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot custom ABAP objects — Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF), BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Frameworks, and Smart Forms/Adobe Forms.
• Gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate functional specifications into technical designs and working solutions.
• Support SAP S/4HANA migration and implementation activities, including data migration, code remediation, and SD process re‑engineering.
• Design and build integrations between SD and adjacent modules (MM, FI, LE, PP) and external systems via IDocs, EDI, and interfaces.
• Identify and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely fixes and enhancements.
• Prepare and execute unit, integration, and regression test plans; support UAT and post‑go‑live hypercare.
• On‑call support for P1/P2 major incidents impacting OTC and SD business‑critical operations.

Decision Making/Discretion

• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in‑depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Networks with key contacts across functional and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Strategy Development

• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel.

What we require from you

• Bachelor of Science degree preferred or equivalent work experience (including 6+ years experience in Information Technology).
• 7+ years of hands‑on SAP experience in a combined ABAP and SD technofunctional capacity.
• Strong functional knowledge of the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process and SD sub‑processes: order management, pricing & conditions, billing, deliveries/shipping, credit management, and returns.
• Proven ABAP development expertise: RICEF objects, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, ALV Reports, and Smart Forms/Adobe Forms.
• Experience supporting both SAP ECC and S/4HANA, including at least one S/4HANA implementation or migration project.
• Working knowledge of SD integration with MM, FI, and LE, and interface technologies such as IDocs and EDI.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to work directly with business users.
• SAP SD and/or S/4HANA certification preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment strongly preferred.
