HD Hyundai Power Transformers USA, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Operations Specialist in Montgomery, AL to support daily fabrication operations, maintain accurate inventory records in SAP, follow production schedules, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure material availability and safe, efficient production.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong data-entry skills, Excel proficiency, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Entry-level candidates welcome; prior manufacturing experience not required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and basic reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good organizational and prioritization skills with follow-up.
• Effective verbal and written communication across departments.
• Willingness to learn SAP and inventory-control procedures.
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing-floor environments and comply with safety requirements.
• Overtime availability to support production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for fabrication stock materials and consumables.
• Conduct routine physical inventory checks and coordinate corrections.
• Track work progress and material readiness and report delays or shortages.
• Process SAP transactions and records per procedures.
• Monitor consumable levels and prepare purchase requisitions; follow up on deliveries.
• Coordinate with Production, Material Management, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality.
• Prepare reports on inventory, consumption, PRs, and production progress.
• Support improvements in material organization and daily workflows.
• Follow safety requirements and 3C5S practices in storage and work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
