Job description

Description

Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two‑time USAToday Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a Hands‑on ERP Subject Matter Expert to support our growing team. The ERP SME will support one of the scrum teams operating within a large‑scale modernization project for a Federal enterprise platform. This role is best suited for a senior functional/techno‑functional ERP professional with strong experience in PeopleSoft, enterprise business processes, system modernization, and Agile delivery. Unlike a broad enterprise ERP advisor role, this position is embedded with a delivery team and is expected to work closely with product, functional, engineering, testing, data, and operations stakeholders to help modernize and improve ERP capabilities.

The ERP SME will help shape requirements, refine backlog items, support modernization initiatives, validate business process alignment, and guide delivery across areas such as PeopleSoft technology uplift, de‑customization, technical debt reduction, data quality improvement, low‑code/no‑code enablement, automation, integration support, testing, and operational optimization. The ideal candidate combines deep ERP domain knowledge with practical delivery experience and can bridge the gap between business needs, functional design, technical implementation, and user adoption in a mission‑critical Federal environment.

As a valued member of the SFI team, you will play a critical role in delivering mission‑critical capabilities to our Federal Government customers.

  • Develop and deliver ERP training programs and user documentation.
  • Support functional design, configuration analysis, defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex ERP issues across business process, data, and integration areas.
  • Work with technical teams to assess customizations and help identify opportunities for de‑customization, rationalization, standardization, and adoption of delivered functionality.
  • Support PeopleSoft upgrades, PUM adoption, PeopleTools‑related changes, regression validation, and feature/functionality assessments.
