Job summary

The City of Pasadena, Department of Information Technology, seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst (ERP) to serve as a functional liaison for enterprise applications, focusing on business process analysis, system configuration, and user support to maximize the City’s ERP investment.

Ideal candidate has strong IT knowledge, documents requirements, defines scope, collaborates with Finance, Procurement, and other departments, and leads testing and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a four-year college degree in business, public administration, MIS, or closely related field.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in professional business systems analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between IT and other city departments for ERP projects, enhancements and troubleshooting.
• Provide ongoing functional support for ERP Financial applications and related processes to finance and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and other departments to identify needs and recommend technology solutions.
• Define and assess processes for upgrades, new business processes and integrations with third-party vendors.
• Create automation routines to enforce business rules and improve workflow efficiency.
• Lead testing, training, and documentation for system users.
