Job summary

APX Company is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to manage the flow of materials, track inventory, and document shipments in a fast-paced facility. The role requires detail orientation, efficiency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities include coordinating ERP schedules, packing, receiving deliveries, loading/unloading, inspecting contents, and maintaining a clean shipping area. Basic math, forklift operation, and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in shipping and manufacturing preferred.
• Safety-conscious and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize shipping and receiving schedules using ERP system.
• Pack goods to meet internal and customer requirements.
• Accept and sign for deliveries.
• Load and unload shipments.
• Operate forklifts and basic hand tools as needed.
• Open boxes and inspect contents of shipments.
• Process returns for defective or incorrect items (RMA).
• Create purchase orders for subcontract work.
• Check shipping documentation for accuracy.
• Communicate shipment status and discrepancies to relevant departments.
• Store, restock, and shelf delivery items.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
• Coordinate transfers for shipments moving to another location.
• Conduct inventory as required.
