Job summary

You will work closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure materials are available on time and meet quality standards. Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain planning.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong knowledge of material planning and inventory management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Material Planning & Forecasting: Analyze production schedules, sales forecasts, and historical data to create accurate material requirements plans.
• Develop and maintain material order schedules to ensure uninterrupted production and avoid stockouts.
• Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Monitor and maintain optimal stock inventory levels.
• Inventory Management: Track material usage and inventory levels to ensure there is no overstock or stockouts.
• Implement strategies to reduce waste, minimize obsolescence, and optimize storage space.
• Work with the warehouse team to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with production and manufacturing teams to ensure materials are available for production schedules.
• Collaborate with quality control to ensure materials meet quality standards before use in production.
• Problem-Solving & Process Improvement: Identify and address material supply issues, evaluate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
