Job summary

Sidney Lee Welding Supply Inc. is seeking a Purchasing & Inventory Associate to support the Purchasing & Inventory Control Agent in managing day-to-day purchasing and inventory across branch locations.

The role is key to transitioning from manual to ERP-driven purchasing, handling routine procurement tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. You will assist with reviewing purchase orders, maintaining ERP records, conducting cycle counts, and coordinating with branch staff, sales, customer

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of purchasing, inventory control, warehousing, or a similar role preferred.
Experience with ERP or inventory management software is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and data entry.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data.

Responsibilities

Process purchase orders for supplies, materials, and parts.
Monitor open PO's and follow up with suppliers on delivery, pricing, or quality issues.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation in the ERP system.
Conduct regular cycle counts and update inventory databases across branches.
Coordinate with branch staff, sales, customer service, and logistics to ensure inventory accuracy and timely fulfillment.
