Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Production Planner to manage daily MRP execution, ERP data integrity, and timely material availability to keep production on schedule.

On-site role responsible for NetSuite MRP runs, BOMs, routings, lead times, and planning reports. Collaborate with Master Scheduler and Expeditor; ensure traceability per AS9100 and ITAR-ready data; familiarity with AS9100 is preferred and DFARS/ITAR awareness helps. Travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of production planning, materials planning, or MRP execution experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience operating within an ERP/MRP system — releasing work orders, managing open order exceptions, and maintaining planning data; NetSuite experience a plus.
• Solid working knowledge of MRP concepts: BOM explosion, routing, lead time offsetting, safety stock, reorder points, and MRP exception management.

Responsibilities

• Execute MRP runs within NetSuite and manage the planning horizon on a daily and weekly basis.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data integrity for BOMs, routings, lead times, safety stock levels, reorder points, and planning parameters.
• Manage open work order status through production lifecycle from release through completion.
• Maintain lot and batch traceability in production scheduling for regulated programs per AS9100 requirements.
• Translate master schedule into work order releases and material availability timing.
• Identify shortages and communicate with Production Expeditor and Master Scheduler on schedule impact.
• Coordinate procurement timing to align with start dates and production needs.
• Support go-live readiness and data validation for scheduling outputs.
• Develop and maintain standard planning reports showing work order status and material availability.
