Aston Carter seeks a Manufacturing Business Analyst in Bethlehem, PA. You will own and maintain the data foundation—BOMs, costing, and raw material specs—driving data standards across operations, supply chain, and vendors to improve purchasing, valuation, and cost control.

This role combines hands-on ERP data management with advanced analytics using Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, or Tableau. You will collaborate with finance and manufacturing teams, support due diligence data, and help ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, supply chain, information systems, data analytics, or a related field.
Experience with ERP data governance and master data management.
Experience with BOMs, standard costing, and cost accounting.
Proficiency with Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP for data analysis.
Experience with SQL, Power BI, Python, or Tableau for reporting and visualization.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the company data foundation, including BOMs, standard costing, and raw material specifications.
Decide which operational, supply chain, and vendor data to retain and ensure accurate capture in ERP.
Enter data into ERP and related systems with high accuracy.
Set, document, and enforce data standards for master data consistency.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify data-related issues affecting purchasing, valuation, and cost control.
Maintain and improve master data within the ERP to support reporting and decision-making.
Analyze costing, BOMs, and related data to support cost control and performance.
Use Excel tools to analyze and present data; build reports with SQL/Power BI/Python/Tableau.
Utilize AI tools to enhance data analysis, automation, and process efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with business needs.
