Job summary

Evolving Solution Services is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to create and maintain manufacturing master data in Global Shop Solutions, including routings, BOMs, and labor standards. You will translate engineering requirements into accurate ERP data and collaborate with design, planning, purchasing, quality, and production teams to ensure timely job release.

The role focuses on updating routings and BOMs, processing ECOs, and auditing data accuracy to support production

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent manufacturing education and experience.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing with ERP master data, routings, or BOMs preferred.
• Ability to read/interpret drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and revision-controlled docs.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and deadline management.
• Proficient in ERP systems (Global Shop Solutions) and MS Excel/Office; CAD view is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create, enter, and maintain routings in GSS based on approved requirements.
• Create and maintain BOMs in GSS from drawings and specs.
• Process ECOs and changes by updating routings, BOMs, and master data.
• Verify released jobs have correct BOM, routing, revision level, and docs.
• Audit routings and BOMs for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain GSS standards for operation descriptions, work centers, and labor standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams when data is incomplete or conflicting.
• Support new product introductions with complete and ready data.
• Maintain records of routing/BOM accuracy and data integrity.
