ApTask is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst with manufacturing domain expertise for a hybrid role in Easton, PA. Contract position with a maximum rate of USD 55–58 per hour (W2). The candidate will lead discovery, define data requirements, and translate business needs into scalable data products.

The role emphasizes driving data-driven decisions, creating dashboards in Power BI, and collaborating with data architects and engineers to deliver value across manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Analytics, data analysis and interpretation expertise.
• Manufacturing/Automation domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate Design Thinking and Discovery workshops with business stakeholders.
• Understand goals, technology landscape, product roadmap, and key stakeholders.
• Document business requirements into functional and non-functional specs.
• Create data visualizations using tools like Power BI.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog on use cases with stakeholders.
• Define acceptance criteria, CSFs, and ROI for each use case.
• Identify opportunities for optimization across the project lifecycle.
• Engage stakeholders through workshops, POCs, and proposals to deliver value.
• Translate business needs into scalable data solutions with data teams.
• Define data product ownership, governance, and catalog the use cases.
