Job summary

Hydrasearch is seeking an Engineering Specialist to join our Stevensville, MD team. You will use your knowledge of mechanical drawings, parts, and manufacturing processes to create and maintain accurate product information in our SyteLine ERP and related systems.

The role supports drawing-related work, engineering changes, and problem solving as skills develop. A four-year engineering degree is not required, and veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings and understanding parts flow.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing environments is helpful.
• Ability to learn and operate ERP and technical software.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Items, BOMs, Routers, and related data in SyteLine.
• Produce manufacturing documentation from approved drawings and specs.
• Read and interpret drawings; update technical information with engineers/drafters.
• Support production by clarifying requirements and resolving questions.
• Apply approved engineering changes to product records and data.
• Identify missing or conflicting information and drive improvements.
