Job summary

Lewis Bakeries is seeking a Manufacturing Systems & Cost Analyst to drive inventory accuracy and ERP process execution across our LaPorte and other bakery locations. You will own daily work order reconciliation, variance analysis, and support budgeting, forecasting, and costing initiatives using PRIMS, Sage, Redzone, and related systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret operational, inventory, and financial data.
• Experience with ERP systems, manufacturing transactions, inventory systems, or production reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including plant floor employees and leadership teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general business software systems.

Responsibilities

• Own daily reconciliation of work orders against production activity to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Review, investigate, and close work orders after transactions and variances are validated.
• Identify inventory discrepancies and partner with operations to resolve root causes.
• Execute correcting inventory and work order transactions as needed.
• Coordinate weekly and monthly cycle counts, variance analysis, and compliance tracking.
• Monitor transaction flow integrity across PRIMS, Sage, Redzone, PC Data, and related systems.
• Serve as the bakery’s operational systems resource for manufacturing transaction troubleshooting.
