Job summary

Lewis Bakeries, Evansville, IN, is seeking a Manufacturing Systems & Cost Analyst to support bakery operations with inventory management, ERP processes, and financial analysis. You will collaborate with production, inventory, finance, scheduling, and IT to ensure system integrity and scalable ERP standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on work on the plant floor, daily work order reconciliation, and cross-site ERP support, reporting to the Director of Cost Accounting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing transactions.
• Proficient in Excel and general business software.
• Ability to communicate across plant floor, operations, finance and IT.

Responsibilities

• Own daily reconciliation of work orders and inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze variances and support budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
• Support ERP implementations across multiple bakery locations and train users.
• Promote process discipline and SOX compliance throughout operations.
