Job summary

Lewis Bakeries in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Supply Chain Inbound Manager to lead receiving, ensure ERP inventory accuracy, and uphold food safety standards. You will supervise the inbound team, drive cycle counts, and ensure supplier compliance to quality expectations.

You will partner with Production, QA, Maintenance, AP, and Purchasing to protect production continuity and inventory integrity, reporting to Plant Manager with dotted-line to VP of Purchasing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• 5+ years progressive receiving/warehouse/inventory management experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience leading an hourly workforce.
• Hands-on ERP experience in receiving/inventory/transactions.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF/BRC or FSMA would be beneficial.
• Proficiency in Excel and data reporting; experience with bakery/food manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct all inbound receiving activities across shifts, including dock scheduling and staging.
• Verify shipments against PO/BOL/packing list for quantity and lot/date coding.
• Enforce same-day receipt standards to ensure material is transacted before inventory.
• Lead ERP-based receiving, inventory, and KPI reporting; ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
• Maintain quality controls, traceability, and regulatory compliance for inbound materials.
• Collaborate with QA, Purchasing, and Finance to ensure ordering and cost accuracy.
