Job summary

Beacon Software in the United States is seeking a Software Implementation & Training Specialist to guide customers through ERP deployments with emphasis on readiness, user training, and post-go-live support across accounting and manufacturing workflows.

You will translate business requirements into role-based training, validate end-to-end processes, and help build reusable learning resources while collaborating with implementation teams globally.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software training, ERP implementation, or enterprise deployment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP platforms and how modules affect workflows.
• Solid accounting background: GL, AP, AR, period-end close.
• Familiarity with procurement, inventory, supply chain, or manufacturing processes.
• Experience building role-based curricula and facilitating learning for adults.
• Clear, patient communication with non-technical users; ability to build trust.
• Able to manage training schedules and cross-functional dependencies, and escalate risks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Implementation planning & readiness: Understand customer processes, roles, and learning needs; build training plans aligned with milestones.
• Training delivery: Lead workshops, virtual sessions, and train-the-trainer programs; adapt to varying technical confidence; onsite travel worldwide.
• Curriculum & content development: Create role-based paths; develop resources like job aids, guides, videos, and hands-on exercises.
• Business process guidance: Explain how accounting and operations work in the system and how data flows between modules.
• Testing & go-live prep: Validate training environments, support UAT, practice end-to-end scenarios, document issues.
• Post-go-live support & adoption: Provide frontline guidance, diagnose issues, coordinate escalation and refresher sessions.
• Progress tracking & continuous improvement: Monitor training completion and adoption; feed back into future implementations.
